With a diagonal of approximately 16mm, this camera can be used on virtually any telescope, and thanks to its square shape, it optimizes the corrected image field for even more compatibility.
The camera's sensational light sensitivity is a standout feature, boasting an impressive QE of 80% via BACK ILLUMINATION technology, as well as very low amplifier glow. These features make it particularly suitable for deep-sky astrophotography.
Unlike monochrome cameras, the "single shot" color camera offers convenience by eliminating the need for the laborious L-RGB process to achieve beautiful colored nebula or planet images.

Its Sony CMOS sensor is one of the most light-sensitive, and its 3.76 µm pixels provide high resolution for any telescope. The 14-bit ADC also allows for a depth like with CCD cameras, but with a much higher sensitivity.
The camera's applications are extensive, including deep-sky images (nebulae and galaxies) captured in mere seconds, lunar and planetary images with extremely short exposure times, and video astronomy.
